Vintage New Zealand Pāua Shell Mantel Clock – Blessing Mechanical Movement

An unusual **vintage New Zealand pāua shell mantel clock** featuring a German **Blessing mechanical movement** and a silver-coloured fern emblem marked **“NZ”**.

The wooden case is decorated with pieces of natural pāua shell, creating an iridescent surface of blue, green and purple tones that changes as it catches the light. A silver-coloured New Zealand fern motif provides a distinctive finishing detail to the front.

At the centre is a traditional **analogue clock with a mechanical Blessing movement**, combining New Zealand decorative styling with a German-made clock mechanism.

The movement is by **Blessing**, a German clock manufacturer associated with mechanical alarm and table clocks.
